THANKS, LADIES. YOU ALL NEVER CEASE TO AMAZE ME WITH YOUR LOVE.
SASHA--HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU ALSO. WE SHARE A SPECIAL DAY. HOPE YOURS IS GOOD.
THERE ARE TONS OF PIX OF CLAY WITH PEOPLE ON THE CANN OVER ON FB. TONS. ALL I COULD THINK WAS HOW INCREDIBLY EXCITED WE ALL WERE TO WIN A M&G. TO SHAKE HIS HAND AT A BUS LINE. WONDER IF THESE FOLKS KNOW HOW LUCKY THEY NOW ARE. I EVEN THINK THERE IS A PIC OF CLAY HOLDING PARKER AT A CHURCH THING. IMAGINE.
SPENDING THE DAY WITH BARRY. DINNER WITH FRIENDS. THIS WILL BE A MARATHON BIRTHDAY GOING INTO NEXT WEEK. MAKES ME SMILE.
SOMETHING POSITIVE IN A TOALLY SCREWED UP AND SCARY WORLD.

Happy Birthday to Gwenn and Sasha, Tammy too.
I am remembering all the fun times we had in our Clay travels. The blizzards we drove through for Christmas concerts!
There are so many memories- we should write a book on our experiences!!

I am a disaster when I type on my iPad. I hit the wrong letters and I never try to proofread!!! My family can always tell when I use it!
BUT - there are worse things than being tushed by Clay!

We have really been enjoying some cooler than usual temps for this time of year in Raleigh. We have had quite a bit of rain, but it has kept it cool, and has been great for Roger's garden. We have had an over abundance of tomatoes ,yellow squash, and okra. All this week the temps are suppose to be in the 80s. It is great to be able to sit out on the deck ,and not sweat
I am off for the next two days and will be Grandson sitting, with JT. He had surgery several weeks ago,(tonsils, androids, nose broken, and septum repaired) but he developed bleeding in the throat, and had to have emergency surgery three nights ago. Now he is back to square one on his recuperation. Anyway his wife is scheduled to work today, and she didn't want to leave JT alone,so grandma volunteered to take care of JT .He can only have soft cold foods, so I will fill him up with jello, pudding,& ice cream. Sounds like a good balanced diet,to me
.
Hope you will all have a good new week.
Only 40 days until the Gala.

A really great article from New Republic on Clay in the ANN.
Clay is so funny with some of the comments. He also said he put on ten pounds- and then ordered dessert!!
It must be all that eating out on the campaign trail.

I enjoyed the article too. Clay is very funny, and I really laughed at his experience with the senior citizens. I would have loved seeing those ladies clamoring for a dance with him,and him actually dancing with two at a time,to funny!
