It's really very simple! In fact, if you made it this far, you are halfway there! Here are some simple instructions for creating a reply to a current topic, or a brand new topic.
-First, you must be a registered member and logged in to your account. Claymaniacs does not allow posting by guests.
-Click on the FORUM button (the navigation bar above the shout box where there are buttons for HOME, FORUM, HELP, SEARCH, etc...)
-Click on the forum you want to read or post in. The forums are titled FORUM INFORMATION, AIKEN NEWS NETWORK, ABOUT CLAY AIKEN, etc (There are brief descriptions of each forum under the forum title)
-Click on the topic you want to read or post in. (The topics are listed under the headings IMPORTANT TOPICS or NORMAL TOPICS. Important Topics are permanent, normal topics will move down the page as people post newer, more current topics, or as people stop posting in them. Topics are also called THREADS.
-To reply, click on the REPLY button at the top or bottom of the thread. Type your comments into the message box that opens. You can click on the emoticons to add them to your post. You may also utilize the HTML code buttons that appear above the message box, but it's not necessary.
-When finished, click on the POST button under the message box. You may also choose to preview and edit, or spellcheck your message before posting.
Your post will then appear at the bottom of the thread!
-To start a new TOPIC, click on FORUM button (the navigation bar above the shout box where there are buttons for HOME, FORUM, HELP, SEARCH, etc...)
-Click on the forum you want to create a TOPIC in. The forums are titled FORUM INFORMATION, AIKEN NEWS NETWORK, ABOUT CLAY AIKEN, etc (There are brief descriptions of each forum under the forum title)
-Click on the NEW TOPIC button at the topic of the forum. Type your TOPIC or THREAD title in the SUBJECT box. Then type your post in the message box. Again, you can click on the emoticons or use the HTML buttons in your post if you like, but it's not necessary.
-When finished, click on the POST button under the message box. You may also choose to preview and edit, or spellcheck your message before posting.
Your post will then appear as a NEW TOPIC on the forum!
Remember, you can always click on FORUM at the top to return to the main FORUM INDEX.
