No false "Idol"

Clay Aiken sold 613,000 copies of his debut album Measure of a Man according to SoundScan, an impressive figure for a runner-up and good enough for Number One. Aiken lost to Ruben Studdard in the American Idol finals earlier this year, but judging by his sales figure, both were winners. Man's tally more than doubled the 297,000 copies that the first Idol winner Kelly Clarkson sold of her debut earlier this year.
