Okay thats weird- I went to quote you and reply and I ended up modifying your post!!
-
So it's not a dinner theatre? That's even better!
-
Thea-Tickets go on sale May 28th.
-
Thanks, TIFF. I didn't see it on the Pota. website when I looked about an hour ago. Is it on Ticketmaster???
-
Welcome :) The OFC put the date up in the Timeless Tour dates announcement in the News Section about a week ago.
-
The Potawatomi Casino is now listing the Clay/Ruben Concert! Tickets go on sale Friday, May 28!
Here's the link:

This will probably be the only concert I can attend this tour, so I am excited! ;D
-
I plan to go, too!!! Daughter said she would go if I buy her ticket...haha. It will be like old times. She attended my first several Clay concerts with me. Will be GREAT to see you there, Thea!!!
-
I'm looking forward to seeing you and your daughter there, Woodstock! Since I won't be around on Friday when tickets go on sale, I'm afraid Phil and I will probably be stuck with the crapola leftover tickets that I can buy late Friday evening. Oh well, my days of needing to be in the front row in order to get "eye frelled" by Clay are long gone anyway. ;D
-
Hey, Thea!!!
I just talked to my son and he says that Potawatami is his favorite casino!!! I am working Friday also, but my son said he could get tickets for us. I sent you a PM. A Clay concert...WOOHOO!!! I'm getting excited!!!

PM'ed you, Debbie. A big hug goes out to your son, as well!. Thanks so very much! ;D
-
Well, tomorrow is ticket frenzy day for Milwaukee. Good luck to anybody here going for tickets. And thanks again to Debbie's son Curtis. I'm getting excited!
-
THEA & DEBBIE - - - Good Luck! Only 500 seats available.
I am physically shaking. I've got my printed out seating chart and I've registered my payment info on Ticket Master. In just less than one hour, I will be frantically trying for tickets. I'll take anything that comes up, just to be there!!
I am at work. I have permission to punch out and go home to my computer to "git 'er done"! :) Then back to work!
Looking forward to seeing both of you in Milwaukee (if I get tickets). We'll plan for supper and time together. I've been afraid to make any plans until I actually have tickets.
FINGERS CROSSED FOR ALL OF US!!!
-
No luck!!!
How about you, Barb???
My son was online RIGHT AT NOON and MUCH quicker on the computer than I am, and could get NOTHING!!! He tried several combinations of numbers of tickets. I tried when I got home from work and could only find one ticket, but my daughter said she wouldn't go if she couldn't sit with me. No combinations of 3 or 4 available.
There are a few tickets available on stubhub and e-bay available already...but I am NOT willing to pay their prices. I will keep trying.
BTW, tickets still available at Hammond, so may changes directions if nothing comes up at Milwaukee.
Good luck!
-
Debbie - How many tickets do you need? There are two members at CV who have tickets to sell - all in groups of two. Send me a PM when you see this! ;D
-
HI DEBBIE!
Thanks for trying for us. As Lindsay has mentioned, there are a few tickets available from "overzealous" fans who bought extras. I'm waiting on one of the suggestions.
I would have PM'ed you last night, but after the initial scrambling around I just gave up and went to bed. I have a feeling we're all going to end up in the same general vicinity...a.k.a. The Balcony!!!! ;D
-
Hi ladies, I am looking for 3 tickets for the Milwaukee concert on August 3rd. If anyone has heard of extra tickets anywhere, please, please let me know. Thanks Donna
-
Donna - I sent you a PM
-
Hi Lindsay Thanks so much for trying to help me get tickets. We just got 3 tickets together in Row D.
We had to buy 4 and split the cost on the 4th one. I honestly did not think that he would sell out that fast. HOPEFULLY THIS IS A GOOD SIGN. Thanks again. Donna

No problem, Donna!! Glad you found tickets together and will be sitting near Thea. Hope you all have a great time!
-
Hi Thea We will be sitting downstairs in a booth. Would love to meet you. I have loved Clay since he was on Idol. I know Sharon, Peggy, Bojena (never can spell her name right). I have talked to Lindsey and Evelyn too. Can't wait for the concert!

The time in WI is central so when it starts at 8 tomorrow night we will start the cellcert at 9.
Woody, the 2 Barbara's, Donna and Thea will be there. Have a wonderful time ladies. ;D
-
Casey posted on Facebook today saying she'll be glad to travel by bus again. Sick of flying.
-
Marilyn won't be here tonight. I'll be doing it in pink but the 1st hour I might be a little slow. Be going back and forth watching Master Chief. But after 10 I'll pick up the pace. ;) Hope it's a wonderful concert for our girls tonight!

There's a screamer at the concert tonight. After repeatedly screaming she loves Clay, she then said she loved Quiana. Clay's comeback? "Great! You're a drunk lesbian." LOL

- Here's my recap from the Milwaukee concert on August 3, 2010 at the Northern LIghts Theatre in the Potawatomie Casino!
Phil and I arrived at the Potawatomie Casino at about 5:15 which was way ahead of schedule. We walked around the casino, got whiffs of heavy smoke in the air (the cigarette kind, not the smoke-signal kind) and checked out the location of the restaurant. We were amazed by how many people were busily feeding the slot machines and playing Roulette and Black Jack on a Tuesday night! I guess for some gambling is their “second job” after they work all day?
At about 5:45 I turned around and there were WILSON BARB and WISC BARB just standing there at the entrance to the casino area looking as bewildered as we were! We immediately started giggling at each other and proceed to give each other group hugs. We then proceeded to The Fire Pit, where we met up with DEBBIE/WOODSTOCK’s and her family (hubby, younger son and daughter). We enjoyed each other’s company at our big table along with some delicious food. (Casinos seem to be known for their delicious food at very reasonable prices). It was just a delight to see the 2 BARBS together, and it felt like the Gala had just been yesterday. Earlier yesterday I had received an e-mail about how women should cherish their female friends, and it rang so true when I met up once again with these 2 dear ladies. It is wonderful to have “a history” with such quality people. WISC BARB showed me photos of her beautiful granddaughter Lexie. (What a lovely and beautiful young lady she has become). And I was so glad to have a little more time to spend with WILSON BARB! What a great lady she is!!! Phil and WILSON BARB hit it off right away because of their Southern roots. I enjoyed sitting back watching them chattering away and as the evening went on, Phil’s southern drawl was starting to return. WILSON BARB, it was absolutely a joy to get to know you better this time around and WISC BARB, I was so glad we could have some time together to renew our friendship; this was my hope, and I got my wish.
It was so great to reconnect with DEBBIE after having not seen since December 2006 when I was going through chemo, but we simply picked up where we left off! We didn’t seem to get any older, but her kids certainly have. DEBBIE has been blessed with amazing, articulate and devoted family. Phil thinks the world of Randy (DEB’s husband), as well. Hopefully a “group picture” will be posted here over the next few days, courtesy of WISC BARB and WOODSTOCK.
About 20 minutes before the concert we decided it was time to wander over to The Northern Lights Theatre. This is one time I was actually happy to be sitting in “cheap seats” up in the balcony because the view of the stage was perfect; had I been sitting in the tables and booths on the main floor, I think it wouldn’t have been as comfortable or as fun.
MARILYN told the story about the gay banter between the lesbian lady and Clay. I didn’t particularly enjoy it, and I’m not sure Clay did either. Frankly after that interaction I would have been perfectly content for the gay issue not to be brought up again, but it did pop up a few times more Is it just me, or is the fact that Clay happens to be gay NOT one of the most important things to his career as an entertainer???
I thoroughly enjoyed all two + hours of the show, although for me I would have been very happy with “a little less conversation” between Ruben and Clay. That being said, I know they had to set the stage for why they were touring together, which I think they did very effectively in the beginning of the concert; however, the frequent mentions throughout the concert and even at the end became a little tedious for me. BUT THE PASTOR RUBIN SKIT WAS HILARIOUS AND SO WELL DONE!!!! I haven’t laughed so hard in a verrrrry long time. I think they could have reduced the amount of banter after that and would have been just fine.
The vocal performances were stellar; needless to say, I was not surprised by Clay’s amazing vocals (esp. on “Suspicious Minds”), but Ruben’s voice was in top form, much to my surprise. I especially appreciated the falsettos and the scat singing skills that he demonstrated. And “Superstar” gave me the chills. I can now finally understand why Ruben got so many votes on AI II. (Although Clay still should have won!)
Quiana continues to amaze me with her versatile, powerful and wide-ranged voice; her rendition of “I’m Every Woman” had me all “pumped up” to the point where I was ready to revert to my early concert ways. (But I managed to control myself ). Casey looked so beautiful and sang/moved like a seasoned pro. Team Clay has done well with their newest “acquisition”. I found myself not missing Angela one litte bit!)
Phil and I both agreed as we drove home that Clay is not as comfortable with pop singing as he is with “Big Band” /jazz singing. I am so happy that Clay has finally found his “home” in this genre. He can sing the cr** out of any type of music but I sense that his heart is in TnT music. Good for him for being true to himself.
Overall, I was very entertained for the 2 + hours both Clay and Ruben were on stage, but I am SOOOOO ready for the “all Clay” TnT concert tour coming up in 2011! Loved meeting up with my concert buddies and loved being Clayed again!!!

Oh, the kiss.
So Clay's singing whatever he's singing, and he and Casey are getting closer, and I'm thinking of the pictures I've seen, and then she puts her hand on his chest and he puts his around her waist. And then he leans in and gives her a smooch. I sent a text to ncgurrl asking if Clay usually gives a kiss to Casey. Apparently not!!! He looked so smug and she was cracking up. He must be reading the boards. What fun to be a fan.
