Just got a call from Ficus!!! Clay and Ruben are doing a soundcheck now. Clay's wearing a striped shirt, rolled up jeans and he is barefoot.

She heard Clay and Ruben. singing "Eye of the Tiger" and "All Night Long"

At one point Clay said "you gotta test this shit" The crowd there squeeled and he turned around and told them to hush up!!

“I’ve compared us to old variety acts in the past,” Clay says.

“But you couldn’t say the Rat Pack though — you had to say Sonny and Cher?” Ruben asks?

“There’s some stuff we do on our own and then we’ll do a lot of stuff together — that was one of the things we wanted to make sure we did,” Clay explains

“We’re on stage together about 85 percent of the time and the only time we’re off stage is when we have to take a rest.”

The “Timeless” tour, kicks off tonight in Asheville, North Carolina.

Has not started yet, it is incredibly hot there.

She doesn't seem any empty seats from where she is, it looks really crowded but she can't see all the way to the back.

I had to select which vacation i wanted to take this summer and the family reunion in NY a couple of weeks ago had to be the choice that I made. We had 5 grandkids graduating the same day and rented out a park for the reunion. I didn't have the heart to not go see all my family in one place at one time. But now that I went I'm wondering if I made the right choice...lol.

Awww...thanks Sharon. I do miss you guys too. I haven't been upstairs on my computer in about 4-5 months now. That's when the AC broke upstairs. It's going to be several thousand to fix so we have pretty much been living downstairs where I don't have a computer. I borrowed my daughter's laptop tonight so I could see if there was a webcert going on. How are things going with you?

No.. unfortunately Clay isn't coming anywhere near his home town on this tour. Grrr! Is he coming near you or are you traveling to a show? I did go to the PBS taping so at least I've seen him recently.

It was awesome! Clay came into the audience to talk to a fan and he was about 5 feet away from me. I hope it's not on the tape because i was freaking out and i'm sure my jaw was on the floor. It was a freckle counting moment. I saw Tiffany, Michelle, Sunny and Barbara & Mimi. I have to see when that taping is going to be playing here. I hope I didn't miss it yet.

Said about 15 minutes into the show he was losing his pants. He was going to try to find a belt. Someone in the audience sent one up to him and he thanked them from the stage. Then he wore blue jeans, and then HAMMER white pants down to his crotch.

She said he was a dancing fool-never stopped and he was so ON!!

Scarlett was there with her camera the whole time.

She said the dancing was incredible and funny. He was amazing. Ruben did well and was not out of breath.

He was AMAZING!! They did really funny little things that they did together.

Ruben came out then Clay came out and pushed him aside and then RUben did the same.

They said Clay came out after the revival and he was wearing an oversize yellow or orange shirt with humongous white hammer pants where the crotch was at his knees. That way when they did the hip hop and he was supposed to grab his crotch it would be family friendly. Afterward he ripped off the pants and was wearing fitted jeans.

At the fan club meet and greets it was just with Clay and I think they said they sat around like a lunch table and he talked to them and asked them where they were from etc. and talked to them a little.

Someone said he mentioned that he was told there was some putting down of the new singer on the internet (maybe not the fan boards) but that he wished people wouldnt do that. I havent seen anything on any Clay fan boards so I am wondering where or who he got that info from. Maybe Quiana? Maybe from tweets? Who knows?

There is tour merchandise- both have CD's and there are cute T shirts about the tour.

THE SETTING IS GORGEOUS AND IF ANYONE HAS A LONG WEEKEND THEY WOULD LIKE TO DO, THIS IS THE PLACE. SO MUCH TO SEE AND DO RIGHT ON THE ESTATE.

I THOUGHT THE VENUE HAD ABOUT 1100 OR SO PEOPLE. WE TRIED TO FIGURE IT OUT. NICE SIZED CROWD, BUT NOT TOO BIG. WE HAD WONDERFUL SEATS THANKS TO SUNNY. THE GIRL NEXT TO ME HAD WAAAAAYYYYYY MORE BEER THAN NEEDED BUT WHATEVER.

WHEN RUBEN CAME OUT IN A SUIT SINGING FWW, ALL I COULD THINK OF WAS HOW MUCH WEIGHT HE LOST AND HOW HOT HE WAS GONNA BE. HE SOUNDED GREAT. THEN CLAY CAME OUT SINGING TITN WITH THE SPIKES AND I WAS TOAST. HE LOOKED AMAZING. HADN'T STARTED TO SWEAT YET. LOOKED SVELTE, HAPPY, AND SOUNDED WONDERFUL. IT WAS A GREAT MOMENT AND HE GOT A STANDING O. SO GOOD TO SEE HIM AGAIN.

YOU READ THE CELLCERT SO YOU KNOW WHAT HE SANG, ETC. NOT GONNA GO OVER THAT. BUT THERE ARE SOME THINGS I WANTED TO SAY.

FIRST, THE MAN CAN SING ANYTHING AND SING IT WELL. HE BELTED OUT SOME STUFF THAT WAS JUST SCARY GOOD.

SECOND, HE NEVER LOOKED BETTER. ALMOST LOOKED YOUNGER TO ME. CHEEKBONES THAT COULD CUT LIKE A KNIFE. JAWLINE THAT WAS PERFECT. LEGS THAT WENT ON FOREVER AND MIGHTY FINE THIGHS. GEEZ, I HATE THAT HE IS GAY. ANYWAY, HE LOOKED GREAT.

THIRD, THE NEW GIRL HAS A GREAT VOICE. NOT A TON OF RHYTHM, BUT A GREAT VOICE AND I MUCH PREFER IT TO ANGELA SCREECHING. I ALSO WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A BODY LIKE THAT.

FOURTH, Q CONTINUES TO BE AMAZING. FELIX LOOKED HAPPY AND IT WAS FUN TO SEE HIM. BEN LOOKED BORED SILLY. ONE OF THE OTHER GUITARISTS LOOKS LIKE RANDY JACKSON'S SON. NO IDEA IF HE IS.

RUBEN IS FUNNY. SHOCKED ME TO HELL BUT HE IS FUNNY. HE AND CLAY HAVE CHEMISTRY ON THE STAGE AND THAT IS PART OF WHAT MADE THE SHOW SO MUCH FUN.

DID I SAY IT WAS HOT? THANK THE LORD, MY OTHER 2 SHOWS ARE INDOORS. BY THE END OF THE SHOW, CLAY'S MAKEUP WAS ALL GONE AND HE WAS AS PALE AS HIS MOMMA. HOW HERS DIDN'T SLIDE OFF IS BEYOND ME. BUT SHE WAS THERE HOLDING COURT.

I DON'T CARE WHAT HE SAYS. HE WAS HAVING FUN SINGING UPTEMPO SONGS AND BELTING THEM OUT AT THE TOP OF HIS LUNGS. DANCING THE BEST HE CAN GIVEN HIS HIP ISSUE.

IF YOU HAVEN'T GOTTEN A TICKET FOR WHATEVER REASON, YOU MUST. YOU WILL REMEMBER WHY YOU ARE ON THIS BOARD. YOU WILL REMEMBER WHY YOU FELL IN LOVE IN THE FIRST PLACE. NO FRILLS. NO FANCY LIGHTING. NO OTT STUFF. JUST GREAT MUSIC, GREAT BANTER, GREAT FUN. PURE TALENT.
