Kicking off July 23, 2010 in Asheville, North Carolina, Clay and Ruben will bring their “Timeless” tour to 17 cities including appearances at famed venues such as New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom, LA Nokia Live in Los Angeles, and Pennsylvania’s American Music Theater.

POOR CABLEGIRL FROM CV- SHE HAD A MEET AND GREET TONIGHT AND EARLIER TODAY CHICAGO WAS GRIDLOCKED BECAUSE OF THE STORMS AND BAD WEATHER. SHE COULDNT FIND ANOTHER FLIGHT ANYWHERE. SHE SAID SHE WILL ARRIVE IN JACKSONVILLE IN TIME FOR THE SHOW TO END!! PLUS SHE HAD TWO OTHER FAN'S TICKETS WITH HER.
I HOPE SHE CAN GET A RESCHEDULED M & G, AND THAT THE OTHER FANS WILL BE ABLE TO GET REPLACEMENTS. WHAT A BUMMER!!

Hey there Marilyn. I don't know her but that totally sucks. :( She going to any other shows? Maybe she could get a Meet and Greet for another one if they let her. I wouldn't fly on the day of the concert. Hope she doesn't miss it.

Clothes... cargo shorts, sneakers with no laces, no socks, green checked shirt, western style with pearl snap buttons, wearing sunglasses on top of his head, he said it makes his hair look better.
Reason Ruben not at the OFC M&G's... security won't let him, (I'm guessing it's something to do with contest rules), but he can go to the charity ones. So, wants fans to know it's not because he doesn't want to be there, he does.
3 at the M&G, they didn't know the other person off-hand. Another person also won, but she also won the charity auction and she was told she had to choose, she couldn't do both, she chose the charity auction.
He signed Lucia's cd... Clay already knew she was looking for one (deemer had one in the car for her)
Signed msidolfan's LTS book... just opened book and signed on any old page, so she had to find it... Use your voice
Clay looked very thin, in a good mood.
He said there were a ton of cities booked already in Feb and March for the TnT tour... mentioned Memphis, Cleveland, Orlando
They also had a tidbit, maybe something new that will happen in the show tonight... he said they couldn't share it, but we would know right away when it happens.

Cool for something added tonight. Was just watching Paster Ruben with Clay with the blanket on and then started to dance. So funny.
Eeeeeeeee for another tour!!! Betty will love to hear he's coming to Orlando. Hoping and praying he comes to MD.

I'm sure they didn't intend to kick her out or get her kicked out. Clay has "played" with her before. Neither of them will probably point out someone taping again for the rest of the run.

CH cellcert is sounding good. Ruben just finished singing. Band really sounds good. Banter now, audience laughing.
The audience is really cracking up, laughing. Ain't No Stoppin Us Now, very clear.

Concert was wonderful. For those that were in Asheville you know and thanks for coming. For those going to other concerts be prepared for a lot of fun and laughter. You will not be disappointed with "the odd couple" Clay and Ruben together is a team. If you haven't planned to go and can work it in you you will be awarded a great time

I don't know if this is true but wanted to post this about Scarlett. Hope she's ok and they can find her.
It's a bit troubling because they kicked at least one person out without her ID, phone, or cash (after cracking her tape and confiscating her camera) and now no one can find her. (The person Clay & Ruben pointed out taking video) None of her friends, not even the ones she's staying with know where she is and, like I said, she has none of her belongings. They're still trying to find her and are getting pretty worried.

I want to be serious and state my feelings on the taking of clack.
Clay has allowed it and even stated that he did not mind. There are many many fans that can never attend a concert due to physical, locational or financial constraints. I have read lots of stories of fans never having seen American Idol, but who saw Clay on youtube and fell in love with him that way.
To me, this is a form of viral marketing for Clay. It keeps the interest going. In todays economy, there will be many more who cannot afford the travel expense. I think the ticket expense itself is nominal and if the tours came within travel distance, more folks would attend. And lets face it, entertainers need fans and interest to continue with their careers.
Yes, I understand and agree that the venue has the final say in this issue. Those who take video must take that into consideration when risking the penalties that may be incurred.
That said, it is not so much that they took Scarletts camera and kicked her out of the venue. This was the risk she took.
It is the fact that they would NOT let her go back or take her personal effects with her. No purse, ID, money, phone, ANYTHING. They just pushed her out on the street in a strange city with nothing to back her up. There were no open restaurants or stores in the area. Her friends were frantic looking for her. She could not contact them. The police got involved and finally found her and brought her to the hotel.
One of her friends even spoke to Jerome and to Clay's assistant trying to get them to let security tell them what happened to Scarlett.
Again, Scarlett is an extremely smart woman and knew what might happen if she was caught taking the video. It just could have been handled better. What if the venue was Newark or a really bad area-which has happened in the past.
Also, I mentioned earlier that I was transferring SOLO tour cellcerts etc slowly to his board. There was so much enthusiasm for cellcerts, so much happiness when video and pics were brought over for us all to drool over.
Now, the video and pics are here, and some still drool and are happy-I dont understand how the mindset changed for others.
It is my opinion that if the performers do not object to any sort of filming, then the venue should go along with that. There were no orchestras this time- and taking video of the venue would not affect the venue itself in any way.
And thats my thought on this whole thing.
Enough-lets enjoy the concerts while we can.

If Clay feels it's that important, he might want to consider hiring a small crew to record his shows, which he can then have posted to the OFC, his FB page, his Twitter page, and anywhere else he sees fit. This would eliminate the "necessity" of his fans to risk their seats in the pursuit of clack.

I don't believe they pushed her out on the street, but simply walked her out the door. She could have chosen to sit down on the sidewalk and simmer with indignation, or even stomp through the parking lot until the show ended. She chose to walk off.

But this is "on Scarlett," not the venue. They're not responsible for her safety off their property; she is. They are responsible for her safety when she is on their premises, as long as she abides by their rules.

No wonder the poor guy went out and did the bus line. He was probably trying to smooth things over and make up for the whole situation.

She may be smart, but I don't think her walking off alone, in an unfamiliar area, with no form of communication, money, or ID was.

Then, maybe people shouldn't try to record shows in rough areas when the venue says not to?
"Clack gathering" is not a right. Yes, it's fun (esp. when Clay plays along with you during the show), and people have been allowed to get away with it for years. But the venue said, "Don't do it." Scarlett chose to bring her camera in anyway, and chose to use it. That the security guy's actions may have been excessive and unnecessary is something for his employers to deal with. The fact remains that the first wrong move was Scarlett's--which she then compounded by wandering off alone.
It is my opinion that if the performers do not object to any sort of filming, then the venue should go along with that.
The venue doesn't serve as an extension of the performers' wishes. They set uniform rules to fulfill safety, legal, and copyright requirements. If performers and/or audience members find them objectionable, they don't have to use that particular venue. But, if they go and choose to flout the rules, the venue has the right to remove them to protect itself.

Pam, I agree with you. I can't understand why Scarlett just walked off in an unfamiliar area. Why didn't she just wait outside the venue for her friends? That doesn't make sense to me. She made a bad situation worse, IMO. I'm sure the Jacksonville police have better things to do than to be out looking for a "lost" grown woman who wandered off. Didn't she realize her friends would be worried sick? I'm truly amazed that she did such a thing.
Believe me, I love clack just as much as the next person. But, whether Clay allows it or not, as concerts goers, it's our responsibility to abide by the venues rules. Frankly, I'm surprised this hasn't happened more often.
