How does one live in a bus for so long??  I don't think he will ever know the feeling of living in a house for a long time!  He just doesn't stop!  He probably can't!  I wonder if he had more airplay, if he would keep this schedule up.  He is on demand right now, though, so he is making the dough while he can.  I think he will be making it for many more years yet.  He is just getting started!!  I will be right there to support him!
I just love that guy!!

I just pray that his voice holds out - I was concerned for him at the BIG E concert - his voice broke twice in Solitaire (never heard that happen before) and he didn't do the "growl" in ISY - I imagine that's very hard on the vocal chords. At least he's getting a little rest now.
MDYK is so breath-taking - you just feel enveloped in the warmth of the  sound. This HAS to be one of the biggest single sellers ever ( I hope it is released as a single and not just on the Target compilation disc )
Let's hope he sings it on his Special ( My Birthday- YEA ), along with O Holy Night and Ave Maria. On second thought, I'm not sure I could take that much of a good thing in one sitting - grab the Kleenex!
Also, as noted by other posters, MDYK is the first recording of Clay that actually conveys his spirit, unlike MOAM - great but not OUR Clay. The production of MDYK was just perfect.

HI there JoJo!  You know, I thought Clay's voice was incredible for the shows I was able to see in person, and I was amazed that he sounded as good as he did on the Big E downloads I saw!  He may have cracked...but I wonder if emotion played a part...or the weather.  I understand it was cold that night, and singing outside in cold weather for any length of time is probably not good.

His voice on Mary Did You Know... it's just so lovely and encompassing.

Oh, and can I just get a HECK YEAH! for this tour schedule? HECK YEAH!

Yay for California and Florida too! The NE is awsomely blessed once again. I am grateful for Raleigh of course.

I know some of you are disappointed...Pacific NW, Canada.... I am truly sorry that it doesn't appear that anything could be arranged for those areas.

Keep in mind the logistics of a tour such as this. This tour has probably been in the making for a few months. But even a few months isn't always enough time to get every single detail taken care of.

This tour schedule would have to mesh with the TV appearances already announced. Many venues, especially the smaller ones, are extremely busy around the holidays, with local events as well as concerts, holiday themed shows, plays etc.

The logistics of a national tour are probably mind blowing when you get right down to it. As far as Canada goes, think about the exchange rate as well as customs.

There is also past history as far as ticket sales. Clay's ticket sales have traditionally done better in the NE and in NC. It stands to reason that's where his appearances may be concentrated.

I'm sure Clay would love to visit the Pacific NW again, as well as Canada, and other areas of the country where he hasn't performed yet.  And he will.  And it will be fabulous when he does!

This article was in our local paper today...it says Clay is scheduled to be in MELBOURNE, FL and not ORLANDO, FL on Dec. 16.

Aiken brings 'Christmas Show' to King Center

BY BREUSE HICKMAN
FLORIDA TODAY

"American Idol" alum Clay Aiken has a special holiday gift for Brevardians -- he's coming to the King Center.

"The Clay Aiken Christmas Show" will feature -- you guessed it -- songs from his upcoming holiday CD, as well as hits from his first release, "Measure of a Man."

Aiken will perform at 8 p.m. Dec. 16, according to information released Tuesday by the King Center. Tickets go on sale Nov. 5 at 10 a.m. Prices are $42.50 and $52.50.

Aiken is also releasing a memoir, "Learning to Sing: Hearing the Music in Your Life," due next month. Aiken describes his life before and since his instant stardom via the hit television talent show. Billboard magazine describes the tome as an inspirational memoir.

Aiken lost the "Idol' title to Ruben Studdard in May 2003. Both have gone on to record successful CDs.

For tickets and information about the concert, call 242-2219.
