Im so excited Clay did this in benefit for RM House... I volunteered at a RM house in Tampa.... what a great charity !  To have parents close to the hospital when there children are there is such a wonderful support for them.  The best support of all is coming to a home atmosphere and getting support from the other parents that are going thru the same thing... God bless you Clay and all the others that have come out in support of such a worthy cause !

You bet.  Whenever I see Clay in headlights (headletters?) without 'American Idol Contestant' tacked on, I feel wonderful.  To me, the whole Claynomenon is fantastic.  I was too young for Sinatra, and even to appreciate it with Elvis, but I was there for the Beatles.  The same vibration, that feeling of something SO VERY SPECIAL starting to happen... it's incredible.  Heavens, from unknown student to his first AMA in what?  A year?  Overwhelming for all of us, but for him, I'm sure, mind-blasting.

Is this why some critics and others can't bear to get their fangs out?  Could it be that they feel it too, and personally don't like the package it's arrived in?  Too durn bad; there are more of us loving it every day.

Onward and upward!

Good point Gwyneth.  I think it's also because 'they' had nothing to do with it really.  It was Clay that did it all.  Oh, and us.  His fans.

Maybe Simon Fuller and Clive Davis and whoever else molded the final product in the form of the CD, but Clay succeeded on his own in earning the love and respect of an army of fans, through sheer talent, integrity and hard work.

The talent may be God given, but the integrity and hard work are all Clay.
He deserves what he has and continues to work for it.  He makes good choices and cares about the right things.  We respect that.

It's pretty simple really.  :
