Ahem.

This is a column about the 2010 Dancing Like the Stars competition on tap Sunday afternoon during the Southern Women's Show at the State Fairgrounds. The event, featuring local TV and radio celebrities, is fast-paced and fun - and benefits the National Inclusion Project, the Clay Aiken organization aimed at expanding opportunities for kids with special needs. The event is always standing-room only, but expect it to be more so this year - "American Idol" finalist Anoop Desai will also perform.

Found this over at Chexxxy's...it may be quite helpful during the ticket hunt! A poster there listened to
Clark Howard, a fellow who discusses effective use of finances, and he had a tip this morning on buying tickets to sports games and concerts.They showed this site that you can see what tickets are available.

I went to that site and clicked on tickets for the Hammerstein ballroom- they came up as $228 !!!!

I think I will try the conventional way-ticketmaster or the venue itself

The tickets that come up are from Stub Hub and other ticket sales places. This is not the cheapest way to buy unless you have the money to splurge.
