I’ve had quite a few changes in my life, but one thing that’s always been the same is how much I love my home state. North Carolina is the place where I discovered my voice and discovered that it was a voice that could be used for more than singing.

In our politics today, the loudest, most hateful voices are taking up all the oxygen in the room and I am SICK of it. As Democrats, we need to get better at speaking up and using our voices - because the other side isn’t quieting down anytime soon.
