Congratulations to Clay for running a great campaign and getting his name out there!  I wonder if he has further political aspirations.  I hope he will be telling us soon.

I googled him last night to see what was out there, and I was disappointed to see headlines such as.. "Three times a loser"  or runner-up, etc.  Can't they think of anything better to say?  I am sure the people that followed and supported him saw what a good representative he would be.  I hope whatever he decides, he has a bright future in his endeavors!

I stayed up late watching election results and I was pleased with how things went.  In my home state of Illinois, we elected a Republican governor over the incumbent for the first time in many years.  I hope everyone can work together to take this country in a better direction in the future!

Ok Linda - Even though this was a democratic site for clay, we can sure change that. I wonder if thos socialist really know what they are voting for. I'll bet they will be surious about what we are going to talk about, so let's etudcate them. First, I will bet that none o f them watch Fox. So , if they really truly want to keep an aopen  mind, I suggest that for every CNN program they watch, they watch one Fox program. I suggest this because that is what I asked Bozena to do and she found out how uch CNN leid and now is a staunch Republcian voting for and supporting Trump allthe way.

Evelyn I just saw this place and just wanted to tell you I'm not running over here to hide as I wasn't posting on the OCD the other day just to discuss politics. I know the 2 liberals can't take it, they can say shut up we don't want to hear it and expect everyone to agree with them and as usual they did. None of them are coming over here as they don't want to discuss anything but trivial I went to the store today type of stuff which is fine and that's why I don't post there much at all. I don't go and do things anymore so I don't have anything to say.

BUT

I was just as I said answering a question Woody asked me and those two ladies that are deep in liberal socialism as I said just can't scroll on by a post that may have some information in it that they don't like and can't handle the truth so they take it upon themselves to ban it because the 2 of them don't want to hear it.


And of course everyone else didn't want to hurt their feelings so they just said 'yeah' lets have you politics people go someplace out of our site and talk all you want. And Glory tries so hard to make excuses and tries to say something that has nothing to do with the subject being discussed so she changes the subject that her post wasn't done for the reason it was done for and then deletes it really quick while hoping no one else but Sharon saw it.


I don't mind talking about what is going on in our country as it is important to many of us that have kids and grandkids as to what their life is going to be like in the future and when some of us have worked for the fed govt for many many years and we have friends still working there we know a lot more that just the casual once in awhile I'll see what was in the news today people.


Maybe when the election gets closer in a year or so and some think they might want to discuss we can come back here but for now like I said I was not discussing politics like Sharon said, was just answering Woodys question. And I wouldn't want to take a chance that someone else may ask me a question over there cause I would be taking a chance that if I answered the said question someone else may jump me and basically tell me to shut up cause it's not what they want to hear or talk about --  but I do want you to pm me and let me know what's happening with you once in awhile.

Jeanne = My son just told me that Fox is not an international channel while CNN is. That migh t be why so many people believe everything CNN says. If people would just listen to Fox for a while, they would get an entirely different view of things. I only ask people to devote as much time to Fox as they do to CNN and then they would learn the truth.
