We are very concerned for our son Brent, and would appreciate your prayers again for him. He is presently at the hospital because the Drs are concerned he may have a possible blood clot in his pick line. This is especially scary for all of us as a blood clot is what caused our DD Dawns death. She had a deep leg thrombosis, that went to her lungs, and she passed away suddenly in her sleep. She was only 39. Brent has already been through so much,so please continue praying for him. At this stage We're all needing them.

Our prayers were definitely answered today. We just got a call from our DIL and it was not a blood clot.Brent did have a obstruction in the pick line though ,which the Drs were able to get out ,without removing the pick. He will only need the pick for two more weeks..Thanks for your prayers..they worked again!

Glory - Congratulations on the new grandson.  I thought 5 granddaughters was a lot but you've really beat me.  Enjoy them now because before long they will be all grown up.

Marlene - Sure glad Brent is doing better.  Best wishes for his continued recovery

Barb - I'm not sure which is worse -- snow or mosquitos.  :-\   Take care.

Went to my future daughter in law's shower today at the Bellport Country Club! I videotaped for her.
What a huge amount of wonderful gifts she got. I said to my son after-"Where are you going to put it all?" He replied "I have a HOUSE now!!"

So true.

The bride has a huge family and tons of "girlfriends". There are going to be seven female attendants and Jay has lots of friends too, so there will be seven male attendants.

I met the flower girl, Lucia, today- she calls my son "Prince Charming"! Adorable!! I was introduced as "Prince Charming's mother"!! LOL!!

The food was great (Brunch and dinner fare). There were cute contests and I actually won for the most things on the list that I had in my pocketbook-at my table. I also won the centerpiece (scented candle, hand lotion and scented sanitizer) because I had the "A" under my seat.

And..........yesterday I finally picked up a dress. The color is way more subdued than I wanted (its pearl gray) but the dress itself is flattering on my less than perfect (think lollipop) body.

I had the very same problem so we might have been fighting one another .  Anyway, it is done.
