Just got an email from Clay.  It's official.  Great interview.  Good luck.  Saw on fb one of the other maybes dropped out and is endorsing Clay.  Interesting.

This is an EXCITING day.  The news networks are reporting about him running on every channel here. It is hard watching them all ,but they are definitely using some killer good pictures.

I was so happy to see that Houston Barnes is going to withdraw today,and is going to back Clay. Good for him,Smart man.

I also liked in the article that he was taking a TEMPORARY leave from entertainment... YAY!

 I also received a e-mail a few minutes ago called WHY I AM RUNNING,by Clay,and it asks at the end of the article to please consider making a gift of $10,$25,or $50 today to jumpstart our campaign.  PAID for by Clay Aiken for North Carolina.  Can't think of a better way to spend some money of this damp dreary day.   Anyone else receive this?

I thought the video was very good!  He is so well spoken.  I think it was wise of him to release this and it can't help but do him some good!

I don't know ONE thing about North Carolina politics.  Does he have a chance to win?

Woody-Loved what you said at the OCD and agree with you! He did say that his music career is on hold for now. Never said he is leaving it. Also he told a fan that he will find a way to sing for ALL of US sometime.  Just sent my contribution by mailing address. Was in the e-mail. Got a thank you on Twitter from his team @ClayforNC. I think Clay has won over a lot of people already! Really excited for him! Even if he doesn't win his voice will be heard!

Thanks for the heads up on TV appearances! Got them DVR'ed.

Marlene - I did not rejoin the Fan Club this year, but it is still there - I just typed in clayonline.com, and it popped up - photo of Clay on the home page, plus a video of him talking about NIP.

If you do not get Google Alerts on Clay, just go to Google, and set a Google Alert on him - you will get an email every day with every word written or spoken about him (not always a good thing  ). There have been 6-7 Alerts a day about his political run the last few weeks.
