The primary is May 6... Not much time left.  Just hope that what Clay is working so hard to achieve, will happen for him.  Barbara & I do not vote in the 2nd District, unfortunately. Two lost votes... :'(

Mimi -- isn't part of Wake County in District 2?  How in the world did the districts get all chopped up two years ago.  I know I am not in District 2 but I thought maybe you were.

wow I guess I've been living in my own bubble for the last three months while on maternity leave since I didn't know that Clay has decided to run for Congress.

It will be interesting to see how it all turns out. I just hope that this will not be the last time we hear him sing.

Hugs to all.

Jules

Several members of fanboards went to a couple of fundraisers, one in Charlotte, one in DC. I have posted their recaps in the Aiken News Network. It is good to see Clay out and about, and I think we have had more pictures of him in the last two months than we have in years!

Agreed Marilyn and thanks so much for posting them! Would had loved to had Seen him in DC last night but didn't know til the day before. Maybe he will come back for something again cause he has been there twice already. Love hearing from fans that get to go to these things and so awesome that some can have a chat with him! Wish there was video of him singing Islands in the Stream from the other night! Love hearing that he is winning over a lot of people too! Really think he has a great chance of winning this!

Good to see you Jules.

I'm not in District 2 either, Marlene, or he'd have my vote. :(
To look at me, you may be wrong. I've been through this--it made me strong.
I believed that I would find an open door or a light to lead me to the other side.

Marilyn - thanks for all the info you are posting for us in the ANN.  Clay seems to be everywhere and impressing a lot of people.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will win the primary and then we'll go on from there.

Very interesting and huge! Maybe David can talk him into singing something!  ;D Kathy actually said on Twitter she saw his video and supports him running for Congress! Even made a Contribution. Who knew?

IT IS MIND BOGGLING, ISN'T IT GWENN, BUT I WOULD SURE LOVE TO BE THERE. HOPE THERE IS A BIG TURNOUT, AND CLAY WILL RAISE SOME MAJOR BIG BUCKS.  SEVERAL FROM OTHER BOARDS ARE GOING, SO HOPEFULLY WE WILL GET SOME GOOD RED RECAPS AND SELFIES.

I wish I could go but I bet they want expensive donors. Hope someone can here. Rosie hosting it is cool compared to Kathy G.   ::)

There is an adorable pic of Clay and a little girl from last night I saw on facebook. I think she sang with him. Awwww He should have a daughter someday.  ;D

Happy Easter and Passover to all who celebrates!
