TONI7 BABE@CV

Just got home...2 hour drive and I have to get up at 6 am for work, so no time to work on video.

Great concert. The venue is nice and small and Clay remarked how different it sounded tonight compared to last night. He said he was even impressed with himself hee!! He ragged on the theater from St Charles a bit telling the crowd they had disco balls/lights on during Away in the Manager!

Loads of men there tonight, especially in the balcony. One whole row of just men

Clay joked alot about it being a casino and was very funny...not as funny as last night but still he had every one laughing like crazy!

He sounded and looked gorgeous..F*KING GORGEOUS!!

Nice lighting tonight they were pretty, small stage and he was on the opposite side of the stage where I was sitting alot tonight since stage was small and I didn't have a killer seat like last night. cablegirl, Mickey749 (sp?) and lindylo and I all were in a booth and could see great just not as close so who knows how my video came out. Probably not as good as my St Charles, I love my St Charles videos!

Orchestra was great! Accoustics great!

I am just rambling, I am tired

It was so great seeing so many CV'ers tonight and last night

DEEMER@CV

Clay had some great moments & gestures in banter tonight, for those who like to clip out those little gifs or just see these moments, I went through my banter to see some of those special parts I recalled from the concert, here are the times for my clack vids, to give you an idea were they come in the banters:

pre "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" banter:
0:59 Yes!
1:39 Clicks his head, he got it right tonight
4:04 You can just let loose!

Pre "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve" banter :
1:48 2-finger point to eyes and to binocular user (I see you)
2:12 whispers I'm doing a bit, just play along...

Pre "The First Noel" banter:
1:15 Tugboat impression
1:39 Damn I sound good
2:42 Tells which songs he has cheat sheets for
6:36 I'm screwing up left and right
5:10 Because I do this every night (he should have said yes to stairs)

Pre "Don't Save It All For Christmas Day" banter:
2:11 Shhhhhhhh
3:30 I KNOW what I'm doing
4:38 WOW look at her (mimics stereotypical loud audience member)
5:31 finger to lips (be quiet - cap below)
5:50 Oh snap (hand snap/flick) joke he is self-congratulating himself for starts about 5:35
ALWAYS AND FOREVER-UNCONDITIONALLY!!!

HI -  I am still in the Clay Fog!   Sunday night - POTAWATAMI !  So thankful that I got to see him at least this one time on this tour.  Where do I begin . . .

Great venue, acoustics, orchestra, lighting . . . . GREAT CLAY!  He started the show by coming out and absolutely nailing every single beautiful note of All Is Well!  YOWZA!  I was completely swept away once again!!

Every song was so good.  First snarky line was something like "Nothing says Christmas and Baby Jesus like a casino"!  :D  He asked if anyone was drinking.  Lots of "first-timers" were in the audience and lots of men.  Clay said that he has been surprised to see many new faces during this tour and he said that he has been told that they enjoyed him so much on Celebrity Apprentice . . . that they wanted to come to his concert!  I think it was a point well taken.

He did an awesome job on the religious hymns of the season.  He had the brass section really blast out for the last verse of The First Noel and it was very memorable.

And, of course, Don't Save it All For Christmas Day . . . . long and loud glory notes and lots of enthusiasm.

The man was born to sing on a stage . . . . and he proved it once again!   Lexie and Nancy had not seen Clay perform since Spamalot and they really enjoyed the show.

I can hardly wait until "next time"!!!

Great recap Barb. Saw a few things on clack but not the opening banner yet. So happy you got to see him.    ;D Agreed that he is born to be on stage. He still has it.   If he tours Christmas again maybe we could get tickets in a few months. Lol Never know.
