Thanks for the recap, Tiffany

Looked like the venue was nice and cozy- up close and personal with Clay. It didnt look like he had much room to move around on the stage, though. He sounded really funny on the cellcert.

DEEMER at CV

he was so wonderful at Avalon. perfection. Even had a cute glitch on one song, sang the 1st line twice, I love that. He sounded wonderful. He was close. He sat on the stage for "All Year Long" not two feet away from me. He walked down the aisle right next to me (I had to get out of the way so he could go into the aisle). He sounded so soft and clear and sweet and then came to power notes and was amazing. This was one of the very best shows, he was playful and surprised at the audience and he got major, loud applause and standing O's. I think it was a night that was good for him and good for us. Just wonderful. When I posted just after the show, all I could say was OMG for about 20 min. The ladies down the row from me were crying, he affected us all in a big way.

Thanks Marilyn. It was. Only had 400 seats. Perfect for him. Said it was like a town hall meeting. I been there once before but in the balcony. Had more seats up there. He looked up a lot. Oh He didn't do a cellcert bit this time. One other thing is I talked to Joe outside and said something interesting about the day off in FL when him and Ben went to Epic center. They did ask Clay if he wanted to come the day before but he said he had to do a report on the computer for his online course. So Clay told people a fib just so we can feel sorry for him. Lol

deemer must had been close to me. OMG is what I said as well. Lol

Wow, first chance I've had to post about the Easton concert. It was so wonderful and the venue was intimate. It felt like Clay was just singing to you and looking right in your eyes. His eyes sparkled and he looked so good and sounded amazing. Just wish I had another one to go too.

I just wanted to share an email, I just received from a co-worker I took to the concert last night. She absolutely loved the show and Clay.

"From the bottom of my heart, I can't say thank you enough times or ways for making last night so memorable for me. I had such a good evening and it was wonderful being in Clay's living room and listening to him sing. You truly put the spirit of the holiday in my heart.
I agree with Clay, everyone should have a little love in the their heart everyday!"

I think another one bites the dust!

My not-a-recap comment about the Easton show. Of course it was fabulous--loved it, but it was a melancholy time knowing it was my last concert of the tour. My friend and I were standing in the lobby with a few other ladies before the show. One of the orchestra members stopped to talk to us. He said he was usually their conductor -- he played the trumpet. He was very impressed with Clay's talent. He said in his 40 years of performing Clay was the best singer he ever worked with, and if the way he sang at the rehearsal was any indication we were in for an incredible show (of course we already knew that!!) He mentioned he'd just worked with Natalie Cole a couple of weeks ago but said she had been sick recently. He also mentioned he went to a local place to get lunch and I guess he was talking about the show and couldn't believe no one knew who Clay Aiken was!. He said something like "Can you believe they didn't know who Clay friekin Aiken was!!!"
