There were some folks behind me tonight who were obviously season ticket holders for the Theater. One of them said that he didn't like the person who was there last night and they could not sing and he hoped this guy was better When Clay came out and did his boom box thing the same guy said "I didn't know he was a comedian!"
After the first banter he said " wow what a great personality he has" and at the end said that he really enjoyed the show.

One of the ushers got a kick out of us as we were trying to convince her we were not the crazy ones! She had watched the show and said what a good singer he was and it was a very entertaining show.

There were six of us that went to dinner after the show and we all felt it was really good, loved the added Schtick and enjoyed it immensely. It didn't appear flat to any of us, which goes to show how perceptions vary

NANCY 9213 AT CV

The concert was absolutely fantastic. His voice was so rich, full and like soft melted caramel. This was the first time one of my friends heard and saw him sing. She thought the whole show was great and she couldn't get over his voice. She also commented on his inter action with the audience. She loved that part and the banter back and forth. ON the ride home (over an hour) she asked questions about him and of course I gave her and the others in the car a crash course on Clay. They wanted to hear his Christmas CD, but I didn't have it in the car, so I played them "Bring Back My Love" and they wanted to listen to it 5 times and absolutely loved it. Then I played Most of Steadfast and Something About Us. They thought "Bring Back My Love" and "Something About Us" were great wedding songs. My first time clay fan was so taken by "Bring Back My Love" that she said she was going to go home and be 'nice' to her husband (they are both in their 80's) cause his voice put her in the mood!!!! My great niece, Danyel 8 yr. old was there for the 2nd Clay concert and 'girls night out'. He changed clothes 4 times!!! And he looked very GQ in every outfit. I loved the entire concert and can't wait till tomorrow, oops! tonight to see him in Clearwater. I think it's time for bed, but I so want to download the concert clack, but if I do I won't go to bed until 6 AM
